Always 1 mile WU/CD; Love this workout for form and pace. Options 2x800; 2x1 mile; 1x1.5 mile; 2x2 mile. Simple plan is to nail each lap the same. Pick a pace per lap and nail it each time. On the second interval take it down 2-5 seconds per lap as the goal still nailing the same pace per lap and push the last part to see what is left in the tank. Ask coach for suggested goals if unsure.
Goal: Second interval faster than first with pace per lap consistent.
Level of effort: zone 3 first; zone 3-4 second.
